QRCodeTechy is architecturally different from most QR generators. Here's exactly how your data is — and isn't — handled.
100% Browser-Side Generation
Every QR code is generated entirely within your browser using JavaScript. When you type your WiFi password, UPI ID, or vCard details, that data is processed locally — it is never transmitted to any server. There is no backend endpoint that receives your input data.
No Analytics on Your Data
We do not log, store, or analyze the content of QR codes you generate. Standard web analytics (page views, session duration) may be collected, but your QR payload — your URL, contact info, payment ID — never appears in any log.
ISO 18004 Compliant
Our QR codes conform to ISO/IEC 18004:2015 — the international standard that defines QR code structure, data encoding, and error correction. This ensures codes are scannable by every compliant reader: iOS Camera, Android Camera, and all major QR scanner apps.
Reed-Solomon Level H Error Correction
When you add a logo to your QR code, we automatically use Level H (High) error correction — the highest of the four ISO-defined levels. Level H allows up to 30% of the QR code's data modules to be damaged or obscured while still scanning correctly, making logo-embedded QR codes as reliable as plain ones.
